Hello, I'm Ruchita Akotkar
I'm a portrait drawing artist and art educator from India, known online as Artbuddy4u. I create hand-drawn colour and black & white portraits, acrylic paintings, resin art and 3D miniature boxes — each one made from your own photograph and your own memory.
Art started as a childhood habit and grew into a full-time practice. What I love most is the moment a family opens a frame and recognises a person they love in pencil strokes. That is why my studio runs on one belief: handmade is heartmade.
Alongside commissions, I teach. My online courses have helped beginners, homemakers, students and working professionals across India and abroad pick up a pencil for the first time and finish portraits they are proud of.
